Storytelling is a time-honored Native tradition. Communication is essential.
Nicole has provided her expertise across a variety of sectors including national non-profit organizations, federal agencies, philanthropic institutions, municipalities, for-profit companies including start-ups, tribes, and campaigns.
Among her current projects is assisting the national non-profit organization, the Partnership for Native Children, to generate broader support for the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978. This law that protects the most vulnerable Native American children and has been called the “gold standard” by child advocacy experts nationwide is currently under attack. Nicole helps Native families and tribes build their capacity to tell their own stories as part of the broader public education campaign to defend this vital law. Their voices matter most of all.
